FLOOD MONITORS ARE HIGH FOR USING LORA COMMUNICATION BASED ON MICROCONTROLLER ESP32

Abstrak

This study aims to make equipment to determine height flood, when conventional communications such as telephone networks and cellular operator networks can't function. This happens because the network hardware is submerged in water or because the power supply from the PLN is cut off. LoRa (Long Range Radio) provides consumption Low power, low data rate and guaranteed data transmission security. With power supply LoRa is very suitable for monitoring high altitude floods with LoRa interface between the ESP32 microcontroller. Flood height data sent routinely so that all stakeholders know the flood conditions in the field in real terms time. In areas where flood subscriptions will be installed, some monitoring equipment will be installed this. Flood height sensor used in the form of SRF05 module is a distance measuring sensor with ultrasonic wave transmitters. The length of time from the SRF05 output will be converted to the water level (flood) by the microcontroller ESP32. This monitor equipment is equipped with the RTC DS1307 module as a real time source authentic on earth. Data of flood height and time of occurrence will be sent through the module LoRa to the receiver side ESP32. The receiver side ESP32 will be equipped with the web so that the data and the time from the height of this flood can be accessed from android mobile by many stakeholders interests. On an Android mobile device installed software is made online with a Thankable device. So that the data can be accessed by an android device Firebase database is also provided. On the sending side ESP32 will be equipped with LCD display so that the height and time data can be seen directly. Power supply This equipment comes from a 12 Volt battery that can be refilled. In this research, ESP32 microcontroller controlled equipment will be realized and the transmission of Lo R so that the equipment consumes small amounts of energy suitable to be applied in the disaster area. In flood areas, humanitarian assistance is needed emergency infrastructure improvements. For this the equipment is made portable and small size. Information from the flood area will be sent automatically when the equipment this is activated to send data when the flood height reaches a certain value.
